The SDE Team Development Hub operates a Research Technical Professional (RTP) training scheme offering one-year placement opportunities at partner institutions. The programme aims to develop the next generation of technical professionals in research infrastructure.
Trainees receive structured mentoring, formal technical training, conference access, and professional certification support to build careers in research infrastructure and cloud engineering.
Three active trainees are currently enrolled:
